For more than 20 years, the Waggas School has been the paragliding school in France, on the dune du Pilat.
We accompany you on a paraglider to fly above the dune du Pilat.

You will be able to discover the Arcachon Bay and the Dune du Pilat seen from the sky and admire this unique landscape with the sandbanks and oyster beds of the Banc d’Arguin, Cap Ferret…

Accompanied by a state-certified instructor, you will be able to fly in complete safety in wind conditions perfectly suited to paragliding activity.

The takeoff and landing phases are gentle, you don’t have to do anything except let yourself be guided by the instructor.

Paragliding discovery flight on the dune du Pilat

The Dune du Pilat (Pyla) site offers unique and exceptional practice conditions. Taking a first flight in paragliding above the largest Dune in Europe, facing the Arcachon basin and the Cap Ferret peninsula is an experience accessible to everyone from the age of 6 . You will be able to enjoy a unique landscape while flying peacefully with one of our instructors. This formula is very calm, ideal for those who wish to live a contemplative experience.

You are a fan of speed, this formula is for you. Waggas flight is a mixture of contemplative flight (with very calm flight phases) associated with dynamic maneuvers and passages close to the ground. Playful and fun, this formula is “THE” specialty of the Waggas School. This paragliding flight on the Pilat dune promises you a mix of speed and calm phases.

  August, drei Bivol-Tandem-Flüge ("action") à 20 min für die Kinder gebucht. Unbedingt machen, an der Dune ist das ein Erlebnis für´s Leben! Kosten 110 Euro pro Flug (viel Geld, aber ortsüblich und für den Aufwand und die Verantwortung gerechtfertigt). Professionelle Betreuung. Sehr gute, zeitnahe Kommunikation (email, Handy). Bei ungünstigen Bedingungen wird dann von Seiten des Veranstalters auch lieber storniert als die Nummer durchgezogen (Wetter und Verhältnisse waren bei uns bis kurz vor Start unsicher). Fand ich sehr ehrlich. => zu empfehlen. Treffpunkt direkt am Südende der Dune nur zu Fuß zu erreichen! (Zeit einplanen). Zahlung cash oder per Paypal (Handy)

  Une expérience renouvellée toujours aussi incroyable. Nous étions 7 à voler hier et tous sont revenus enchantés, émerveillés et touchés par la bienveillance des moniteurs surtout envers les "angoissés" mais tellement fiers d'avoir surpasser leur réticence.
